About Don Igo

Don Igo is more than just a sales representative for a homebuilder—he’s a people person, a proud Nebraskan, and a lifelong believer that details matter.  Don brings over two decades of leadership, customer service, and business development experience to every project, with a straightforward goal: to help people feel at home. An Omaha native, Don graduated from Westside High School. A true Husker at heart, he remains one of the program’s most loyal fans—game day is always a family tradition.

Service has always been at the core of Don’s life. He served four years in the United States Marine Corps, where he developed his trademark discipline, integrity, and work ethic. After his service, Don’s career path in Omaha blended both business and sports—he was the General Manager of Omaha’s beloved Indoor Football team, the BEEF, and later served as Director of Business for the Omaha Nighthawks. Beyond the field, Don thrived in the corporate world as a Route Sales Representative for Zee Medical, working his way up to Vice President of Business Development. For 20 years, he built a reputation for delivering unmatched customer care, fostering strong relationships, and solving problems with a unique blend of creativity and humor.

Don earned his real estate license in April 2012, merging his business expertise with his passion for construction and people. At Celebrity Homes, he has found his true calling—guiding families through the new home building process with patience, knowledge, and a commitment to making it both smooth and enjoyable. I am licensed in Nebraska, a member of the Omaha Area Board of Realtors, National Association of Realtors, a Certified New Construction Specialist, a Certified Residential Specialist, and also hold the “GRI” designation. GRI, the National Association of Realtors Designation.

Outside of work, Don is happily married and the proud father of his son, Ashton, a Hollywood actor in LA. He’s also a Harley-Davidson rider, a lover of classic cars, and a dog enthusiast. Whether it’s cheering on the Huskers, riding with the wind, or working alongside clients, Don believes life is about passion, connection, and always keeping a sense of humor.
